Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" benefit concert flyer (3rd Annual Children's Adventure Day Camp benefit), which lists appearances by the Grateful Dead (*probably canceled), Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin), Quicksilver Messenger Service, Grass Roots, Sunshine, the New Improved Jook Savages (featuring poster artist Rick Griffin), P.H. Phactor (Jug Band), the Si Perkoff Jazz Quintet, the San Francisco Mime Troupe, Larry Hankin, Lew Welch, Don "Howard Hesseman" Sturdy and Gary Goodrow all appearing at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 8/7/1966.
Art by Mary Kay Brown, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series (this show falls on the day after the BG 21 show), the full-color poster appears in the Art of Rock on page 150 (plate 2.68) in the "Fillmore Auditorium Benefits" chapter. (*this is the monochrome flyer)
Thin stock flyer is in used (B- to B-/C+) condition; there are a couple of large punch holes with a pair of good-sized drag tears along the upper margin, along with a set of tack holes (all four corners), a couple of tiny edge tears, light toning, a few light handling dings and a stain on the reverse... a bit on the used side, but still a charming original 1966 Fillmore concert artifact at a fairly low price.
