Original 1st printing 5&1/4 x 8&1/8" blank-reverse concert handbill for the Charlatans appearing with Frumious Bandersnatch and Triple AAA (Anonymous Artists of America) at the Western Front in San Francisco, CA from 10/27-28/1967.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image (red stock version) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 191 (plate 2.200). *This image was printed in two colors- the red one pictured in the AOR book and this version on light tan/buff-colored stock. It is sometimes referred to as "Fat F*ck", due to the tiny hidden profanity in the photo.
Medium-thin flat vellum stock handbill is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from a couple of light press roller marks in the right center margin and a couple of nearly-invisible bends in the left/bottom margins, it is a VERY sharp-looking example of this classic mid-'67 Mouse/Kelley handbill from the short-lived Western Front.
