Original 1st printing 15&1/2 x 23&1/8" event poster for "The End of the War", a Diggers-sponsored event held at the Straight Theater in San Francisco, CA on 11/5/1967.

 Artist unknown, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 199 (plate 2.219).

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners, a slight curl to the paper, a few stray tiny edge creases and a small nick or two scattered around the outer margin area, a 2" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a bit of soft creasing (or perfaps moisture rippling) along the left margin area, a tiny stress crease or two hiding within the image area and a touch of toning, otherwise fine. Truthfully, the photo of the poster in the Art of Rock poster doesn't really do this one justice, the colors are MUCH more saturated in person.
