Original 1st printing 12&7/8 x 19&3/4" concert/event poster for beat poet Allen Ginsberg and Swami Bhaktivendanta appearing along with the Grateful Dead, Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) and Moby Grape in a benefit* performance (*for the San Francisco Krishna Temple), held at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 1/29/1967.
 
 Design by Harvey Cohen (*thanks Andy!), image ("Krishna Consciousness Comes West") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 107 (plate 2.18).
 
 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a trace amount of paper discoloration (tiny pin-prick spots) and a touch of moisture ripple to the paper along the extreme top border with a pair of light smudge marks in the upper left/right corner tips, plus a trace amount of handling wear, but that's just about all there is to speak of.... physically very nice.
