Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 23" event poster for "A Festival of Peace & Love", held at Live Oak Park in Berkeley, CA from 9/28-29/1968.

 Art by John Thompson, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 214 (plate 2.271). 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a bit of light toning to the paper, along with pieces of clear tape in all four corners and in the top center margin, a small 1/2" wedge pull/tear just below the bottom left portrait of Bustrer Brown, a few tiny stress bends/handling dings and a stray pin-prick surface spot or two hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.

 An overall VERY nice-looking example of this semi-uncommon East Bay poster from the Art of Rock.
