Description
Original 1st printing/second state (no "1st Edition of 1200" stamp, but still part of the same print run) 22 x 28&1/2" (extra white borders along the top/bottom margins) art show/event poster for the 7/17/1967 opening of the Joint Show, held at the Moore Gallery in San Francisco, CA and featuring music by Country Joe & the Fish and exhibited art by Alton Kelley (who did this version of the poster), Rick Griffin, Victor Moscoso, Wes Wilson,  Stanley Mouse and more.

Art by (and SIGNED in black flair pen by) the aforementioned Alton Kelley (with a Gene Anthony portrait of the Grateful Dead's Ron "Pigpen" McKernan), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 235 (plate 2.350).

Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few stray soft handling dings here and there, along with a couple of tiny edge/corner-tip dings, a dime-sized printing anomaly (a small white spot) in the upper left margin and a couple of well-camouflaged stress bends/hairline creases hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.

Very decent-looking example of the Kelley Joint Show with a nice 1970's-era artist signature.
