Original 1st printing 15&3/4 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service and Blue Cheer (*not sure about B.C.) at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 1/17/1968.
Art by Allen "Gut" Terk, image ("Ben Franklin's Birthday") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 181 (plate 2.169).
Medium flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; just a light amount of handling wear, a few tiny thin stress creases hiding within the image area, a nearly-invisible thin vertical bend running down the lower left margin and a quartet of archival tape remnants on the reverse, otherwise it is a VERY sharp-looking example of the "Ben Franklin's Birthday" poster.
