Original 1st printing 6&7/8 x 10&1/2" concert handbill for "Danse Macabre", a junior class-sponsored show featuring the
Grateful Dead appearing with Country Joe & the Fish at Pauley Ballroom on the campus of the University of California in
Berkeley, CA on 12/2/1966.
 
 Art by Ruth Garbell, extra-thin vellum stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a tiny soft crease in the upper right margin/corner, a trace of ink streaking along the lower margin, a pair of nearly invisible pin-prick spots on the reverse and a soft handling ding or two hiding within the image area, it is a VERY sharp example of this BIZARRE-looking late-'66 Grateful Dead image from the East Bay.
