Original 1st printing 14&1/4&1/5 x 20" concert poster for the Grand Opening (*under new management) of the Continental Ballroom in Santa Clara, CA, featuring Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Freedom Highway and Heather Stone from 7/14-15/1967.

 Medium-thick textured index stock poster is in decent (B/B-) condition; there are large tack holes in each corner with a couple of pronounced diagonal bend in the upper left/right corners, a subtle water/moisture stain in the bottom center margin, a few thin bends/light handling creases hiding within the image area, a pair of large vertical bends going down the right side of the poster, a few stray surface spots/light stains here and there and a few minor little edge dings scattered around the outer margin area, otherwise fine.
 
 Conditional issues notwithstanding, it remains a pretty cool original '67 Big Brother/Janis piece that doesn't turn up regularly.
