Original 1st printing 11" square concert mini-poster/large flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing with Country Joe & the Fish at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 2/14/1968.
Art by Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley, image ("Be Mine") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 182 (plate 2.174).
Medium flat index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are multiple pin/staple holes in all four corners (this example was clearly hung up at the time of the shows), a couple of tiny edge creases and a tiny pin-prick spot or two scattered around the outer margin area, a couple of soft bends/handling dings/stress creases hiding within the image area, a light amount of toning and a few light stains and a pair of soft tape piulls on the reverse, otherwise fine... an overall very sweet-looking example of the always-popular Valentine's Day "Be Mine" image.
One of the more incendiary shows from early '68 (Bob Weir's infamous "Burn down the Fillmore, gas the Avalon" chant during "Alligator" was born on this night), the full show was released as part of the "Road Trips" series.
