Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service with Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin) and the Jaywalkers on 7/1/1966, the Great! Society (with Grace Slick), Sopwith Camel and the Charlatans on 7/2/1966 and the Grateful Dead with Love (featuring Arthur Lee) and Group B on 7/3/1966, all shows held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 14 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a 1&1/2" horizontal tear in the left center margin (taped on the reverse) with a tiny sliver of purple marker covering the tear, along with a couple of VERY soft bends scattered around the outer margin area, a tiny pin-prick stain in the lower right border, a whisper of handling and a couple of VERY thin stress bends hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.
As this one of only a few early Fillmore images that was not later reprinted, this is a key piece to completing a set.
