Original 1st printing 23&1/8 x 29" untrimmed printer's test proof sheet (cyan/blue/red) concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the New Riders of the Purple Sage and the Blues Brothers (featuring John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd) at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 12/31/1978 (*the FINAL Winterland show).
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (whom has also HAND-SIGNED the sheet in gold ink), image ("Blue Rose") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 343 (plate 4.38).
Medium glossy-coated index stock proof sheet is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+) condition; there are a pair of VERY soft thin bends running along the bottom left and lower right margins, along with a tiny corner-tip bump or two, a stray fingerprint/thin surface scratch or two hiding within the image area, a few tiny edge dings and that's pretty much all there is to speak of... an absolutely BEAUTIFUL ARTIST-SIGNED proof sheet featuring one of the most popular Dead images of all time.
