Art by Frank Melton, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 200 (plate 2.220).
Medium-thin semi-gloss stock poster is in decent (B/B- to B-) condition; there are a number of handling dings/tiny bends/light creases and tiny pin-prick spots scattered throughout the image area, along with a moderate amount of edge/corner wear (tiny creases/nip tears and a series of thin bends), a pair of 1" and 2" horizontal tears in the right margin (sealed on the reverse with clear tape), a bit of moisture ripple to the paper, a small staple wedge pull in the left margin (just below the "S" of "Straight"), a randomly placed tack hole or two and other assorted little bits of wear and tear... this example has definitely been around the block a few times, but for such a large poster it's really not all that bad, all told- good/strong colors, unusual design, GREAT lineup... absolutely KILLER original 1967 poster from the Grand Opening of the Straight!
