Original 1st printing 5&1/2 x 8&1/2" blank-reverse concert handbill for the august 1968 schedule of shows held at La Cave in Cleveland, OH. Acts listed include: the Fugs (7/30-8/1), Time (8/2-4), Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin, 8/6-7), Tom Paxton 8/8-11), Iron Butterfly (8/12-13), Flatt & Scruggs (8/15-16), the Steve Miller Band (8/20-22), Chrysalis (8/23-25), Richie Havens (8/27-29) and Blood, Sweat & Tears (8/30-9/1).
 
 Designer unknown/not credited, medium-thick flat vellum card stock handbill is in decent/used (B-) condition;  there are a couple of decent-sized chunks of paper missing from the top/bottom left corner tips and an almost 2" wedge out of the left center margin, along with staple holes in the other corners with a couple of tiny wedge pull tears, a light amount of surface dirt, a bit of light red marker scrawl over "La Cave", a stray handling ding/pin-prick age spot or two lurking around the outer edges and a tiny bit of pencil scratch on the reverse ("1968")... definitely on the used side, but INCREDIBLY uncommon mid-'68 Big Brother/Janis concert artifact from one of the Midwest's best-kept secret of the '60's. The list of acts on this one is mind-boggling!
