Original 1st printing 14 x 20&1/4" benefit* concert/event poster for "A Gigantic All-Nite Jazz-Rock Dance Concert" held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 9/11/1966. (*for the Both/And jazz club in San Francisco)

 Participants listed include: Gary Goodrow (MC), Jon Hendricks Trio, Elvin Jones, the Joe Henderson Quartet, Big Mama Thornton, Denny Zeitlin Trio, Jefferson Airplane, Great Society (their final performance before Grace Slick left) and the Wildflower. Not listed (but apparently did appear): the Grateful Dead.
 
 Artist unknown/not credited, image is featured on page 151 of the Art of Rock book (plate 2.74).
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum flat stock poster is in SPECTACULAR near mint (A-) condition; aside from a tiny thin horizontal roll bend traversing the extreme upper right margin, a nearly invisible soft handling ding or two and a TINY nick in the left center margin and that's all, folks... absolutely STUNNING example of this somewhat hard-to-find early Fillmore benefit poster.
