Original 1st printing 11 x 17" concert poster for the New Riders of the Purple Sage (featuring Jerry Garcia, Mickey hart and Marmaduke (John Dawson)) appearing at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA on 7/7/1970.

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Mark Twain Behrens, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 162 (plate 2.105).

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+) condition; other than a small wedge-shaped pinch bend in the top center margin, a tiny hairline bend along the right margin and a soft handling ding or two lurking within the image area, it is an absolutely STUNNING example of this early NRPS (with Jerry and Mickey!) poster from the Matrix.
