Original 1st printing 14 x 22" cardboard boxing-style concert poster for the J. Geils Band (AKA "J. Giels Blues Band") appearing with Alfalfa Farm, Eastern Standard Time, Foiliage, Henry & Curtis, Joint Effort, Park Street Under, Shoe City Blues Band, Silverhouse, Swallow, Tramp and Uncle Al’s No Action Army and Special Guest Star Eddie Mottau at Miramar in South Duxbury, MA (free outdoor show sponsored by Massasoit Community College)

 Designer unknown/not credited, extra-thick cardboard boxing-style silkscreen poster is in decent (B/B-) condition; there are tack holes in the top/bottom center margins, along with a moderate amount of surface wear (a few light stains, scattered pin-prick age spots, light toning and a bit of surface chipping in the lower right quadrant), a fair amount of edge wear (a small pressure indentation and a bit of minor fraying/edge splitting along the bottom margin, corner-tip pressure creases and a set of tape pulls with a fair amount of chipping on the reverse, otherwise fine... clearly, this example was utilized for promotion and removed from public display at the time of the show.

While there may be some conditional issues with this example, it's not like there are a whole lot of them floating around out there- I'm guessing the print run was TINY. VERY COOL early-'70's regional J. Geils poster from a small Massachusetts college show.
