Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for early rock & roll pioneer Bo Diddley appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 8/12-13/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image ("Earthquake") is # 21 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Thin flat stock flyer is in good (B) condition; there are a series of thin semi-pronounced diagonal bends traversing the upper left quadrant of the image area, along with a pair of 1&1/2" diagonal bends in the upper/lower right corner, a few VERY light pin-prick age spots hiding within the image area and a soft stray handling ding or two, otherwise fine.
An overall fine-looking example of this early Mouse/Kelley-designed Avalon Ballroom flyer, most of the bends are fairly well flattened out.
