Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 7/22-23/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (with the central image borrowed from Franz (Von) Stuck), image is # 17 in the Family Dog/Avalon series (this version is purple ink on white stock, OHB-A in the Eric King guide).
Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners with a tiny nip in the upper right corner tip, a 1/2" bend in the upper left corner, along with a few soft handling dings here and there and a series of almost-invisible vertical stress bends going down the center of the image area, otherwise fine.
Very nice-looking example of this early Avalon Ballroom flyer.
