Original 1st printing 4&1/2 x 6&3/8" concert handbill for the Grand Opening of the Balconades Ballroom in San Jose, CA, held on 2/16/1968, and featuring appearances by Quicksilver Messenger Service, Mad River and Freedom Highway.

 Art by Wm. McKinley, thin flat index card stock handbill is in near mint (A-) condition; just a tiny bit of pencil scratch on the reverse, a nearly invisible pinch ding or two and a whisper of surface wear and that's IT... an absolutely GORGEOUS example of this very obscure South Bay psychedelic concert artifact. Not a lot of material from this venue!
