Original 1st printing 11 x 14" advance ticket sale concert/event poster for the (second) Newport Pop Festival, held at Devonshire Downs in Northridge, CA from 6/20-23/1969.

 Poster lists performances by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Spirit, Joe Cocker, Southwind, Taj Mahal, Albert King, Edwin Hawkins Singers, Ike & Tina Turner, Jerry Lauderdale, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Steppenwolf, Jethro Tull, Eric Burdon, Buffy St. Marie, Friends of Distinction, Charity, Sweetwater, Lee Michaels, Albert Collins, Love, Brenton Wood, Chambers Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Grass Roots, Three Dog Night, Booker T. & the MG's, Johnny Winter, the Byrds, Poco, Mother Earth, the Flock and the Rascals.

 Art by Bob Masse (not credited), medium-thin flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a bit of mild creasing and a few thin bends scattered along the upper left margin, along with a couple of very light surface stains between "Ike & Tina Turner" and "Breton Wood", a bit of relatively minor handling wear/light creasing and a small tape shadow on the reverse side, otherwise it is a VERY sharp example of this somewhat elusive Newport Pop poster from the 1969 event.
