Description

Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event flyer for "Bedrock One", a benefit for the Communications Company (publishers of the Diggers' Haight-Ashbury neighborhood newsletters), held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 3/5/1967.

 Participants/performers included the San Francisco Mime Troupe, the Committee, the Steve Miller (Blues) Band, the Orkustra, Dino Valenti and more.

 Art by Robert Crumb, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 177 (plate 2.153).

 Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; there are tiny pin/staple holes and light creasing in all four corner tips, along with a few soft bends along the lower margin, a couple of light handling creases and a bit of minor ink spread on the reverse side, otherwise it is an absolutely FANTASTIC example of this always-in-demand R. Crumb artifact from the AOR (the only commissioned event/concert flyer he did at the time).
