Original 1st printing 7&3/8 x 11" concert flyer for the "Prohibition Benefit Ball", a marijuana-legalization benefit (*for LEMAR) which featured the Grateful Dead appearing with the Charlatans and held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 5/29/1966
Artist unknown/not credited, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 175 (plate 2.147).
Thin flat stock flyer is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are three tack holes along the top margin (left/right corners and in the top center), along with a small nip tear along the upper left margin, a bit of minor handling wear/creasing, a bit of pin-prick spotting (mostly along the right margin) and and a few thin bends scattered around the outer margin area, a whisper of mild paper toning and a tiny bit of easily-erasable pencil scratch on the reverse, otherwise fine.
KILLER early-'66 Grateful Dead concert artifact from California Hall, I haven't had one of these pass through in AGES.
