Original 1st printing 5&3/4 x 9&3/8" blank-reverse concert handbill for "Magic Music", a 2-day event featuring the Grateful Dead appearing with Canned Heat, the Leaves, Andrew Staples, Sons of Champlin, New Delhi River Band, Second Coming, the New Breed, BFD Blues Band, Gross Exaggeration, Yajahla, Tingle Guild, People, Jaguars, Art Collection, Morning Glory, Ben Frank’s Electric Band, the New Frontier, Chocolate Watchband, the Other Side, E-Types, Mourning Reign, Imperial Mange Remedy, Omens, Ragged Staff, Talon Wedge and "Others" at Cabrillo College Stadium in Aptos, CA from 9/2-3/1967 (*event likely canceled- see below).

Artist unknown/not credited (central GD collage by Alton Kelley), image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 265 (plate 3.31)

Thin flat stock handbill is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; just the slightest whisper of handling wear and a nearly-invisible soft bend along the lower right margin, otherwise it is an absolutely STUNNING example of this fairly uncommon oddball 1967 Grateful Dead image from the AOR.
