Original 1st printing (union logo 72) 13&1/8 x 19&1/8" concert poster for Country Joe & the Fish appearing with Moby Grape and Lee Michaels at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 12/30-31/1966.

 Art by (and SIGNED in black pen by) Stanley Mouse (with Alton Kelley), image is # 41 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; all four corners have tack/staple holes with a couple of small wedge pulls/pin-prick rust spots (top left/right, bottom left) and a tiny diagonal wedge out of the top left corner tip, along with a single tack hole just above one of the seagulls on the left side of the image area, VERY light fading/toning, a thin horizontal roll bend and a couple of stray pin-prick age spots hiding within the image area, a few soft handling creases here and there and a whisper of surface dirt, otherwise OK.

Nice-looking gently-worn ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of this always-popular Avalon poster.
