Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 23" concert poster for the Charlatans appearing with Frumious Bandersnatch and Triple AAA (Anonymous Artists of America) at the Western Front in San Francisco, CA from 10/27-28/1967. 
 
 Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 191 (plate 2.200). *This image was printed in two colors- this version and another more common version on tan/buff stock. It is sometimes referred to as "Fat F*ck" due to the tiny hidden profanity in the photo.
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in decent (B/B-) condition; this example exhibits a bit of fading to the red paper (front only), along with a 3/4" diagonal wedge out of the bottom left corner tip, a small horizontal split tear and a 1/2" crescent-shaped "mouse bite" wedge out of the lower left margin, a 1/4" diagonal slice out of the top right corner tip, light splatter stains on "Front" and "Oct. 28", a thin scratch/bend in the upper left corner, s few tiny soft pin-prick spots/soft handling dings here and there and a set of tape remnants/pulls on the reverse side, otherwise OK.

While not perfect, it is still a fairly presentable example of the semi-elusive red stock "Fat F*ck" poster.
