Description

 Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 13&3/44" concert flyer for Big Brother & the Holding Company (BEFORE Janis Joplin joined) appearing with A Moving Violation and Elias Romero' Lights at the Firehouse in San Francisco, CA on 3/19/1966.

 Designer unknown/not credited, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 195 (plate 2.211).

 Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; there are a couple of nearly-invisible soft diagonal bends along the upper right margin and just the slightest whisper of handling wear, otherwise it is absolutely SPARKLING example of this unusual "broadside"-style artifact from the earliest days of the San Francisco scene.
