Description

Original 1st printing 11 x 17" concert poster for "The George Big Ball", a multi-act show featuring appearances by the Hedds, Butch Engle & the Styx and the Mystery Trend,  held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/21/1966. *Quicksilver Messenger Service was later added to the bill
 
 Artist unknown/not credited, thin flat index stock poster is in good (B) condition; there are a series of semi-flattened thin horizontal creases traversing the image area, along with a bit of light creasing/handling wear, a few tiny edge/corner-tip dings, a couple of VERY soft bends and a soft pin-prick spot or two hiding within the image area and a bit of almost-invisible pencil scratch on the reverse side, otherwise OK.

 Fairly uncommon concert artifact from the very earliest days of the SF psychedelic scene (this show was only TWO DAYS after the FD #1 "Tribal Stomp" show).
