Description

Original 1st printing 13&1/2 x 18&5/8" concert poster for a multi-act "benefit dance concert" held at the New Orleans House in Berkeley, CA on 4/9/1967.

Acts listed include: the Orkustra, the New Age, Congress of Wonders, Annie Johnson and the Cleanliness & Godliness Skiffle Band, Malvina Reynolds, Paul Arnoldi, Larry Hanks, Notes From The Underground and Eric Vaughan (with Bob Holt's light show)

Art by Stan Micklose, medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; there is a small tear/stain and a large tape pull in the top center margin, along with slightly less prominent tape pulls in the left/right center and bottom center margins, a few light handling dings here and there and a couple of ultra-tiny corner-tip bends, otherwise fine.

Neat-looking early-'67 oddball Berkeley piece with a great layout and unique lettering.
