Original 1st printing 13&1/8 x 18" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing on 10/18/1968 and Big Mama Thornton appearing on 10/19/1968, both shows supported by Cleveland Wrecking Company and held at the Bank in Torrance, CA.
Art by Robert A. Wilson, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 283 (plate 3.91).
Thick flat index stock poster has been restored to good (B) condition; there is a light to moderate amount of toning/fading and a bot of moisture staining/discoloration along the right side, along with a couple of filled-in tack/pin holes, a soft stain along the upper left margin, a few tiny stress creases and soft pin-prick surface smudges here and there and a bit of scuffing/light staining on the reverse side, otherwise OK.
KILLER original low-run 1968 Dead concert artifact from Southern California. Read more about the Bank (and this show) HERE:
