Description

 Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 18&7/8" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin), appearing with the Charles Lloyd Quartet, Mount Rushmore and Morning Glory at the Continental Ballroom (Auditorium) in Santa Clara, CA from 8/11-12/1967.
 
 Designer unknown/not credited, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 233 (plate 2.342).
 
 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (+) condition; there are a couple of tiny rub marks in the upper left corner, along with a soft light brown scuff/smudge along the lower right margin, a few tiny edge dings and a hint of handling wear, otherwise it is a superb-looking example of this very bright and charming 1967 Big Brother poster from Santa Clara.
