Original 1st printing 3&1/4 x 4&1/2" untorn ticket for "Super Ball", a benefit concert for striking workers from FM rock station KMPX, held at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 4/3/1968.
No acts are listed, but the show apparently featured appearances by the Grateful Dead, Electric Flag, Mother Earth, the Youngbloods, Moby Grape and It's A Beautiful Day.
Art by San Andreas Fault (Tad Hunter), medium flat index stock ticket is in good (B) condition; there are a couple of tack holes in the upper right margin and in the "u" of "Super, along with a light stain along the left side of the ticket (right side of the reverse side), a few tiny bends/handling creases here and there, a series of thin vertical scratches in the top center margin (paper clip scratches) and the reverse side has a hand-written (in blue flair pen) note from the artist (Tad Hunter) giving his new address and phone number... apparently he had been using his leftover tickets as business cards!
ULTRA-COOL (and presumably quite scarce) oddball Winterland/Grateful Dead concert artifact with a direct connection to the artist.
