Original 1st printing 16&5/8 x 21&7/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the New Riders of the Purple Sage at Hill Auditorium on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI on 12/15/1971.
Art by Gary Grimshaw, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 393 (plate 4.187). *this version does not have the local ticket-outlet imprint
Medium-thick vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B/B-) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners with small 1/4" drag tears along the upper left/right margins/corner tips, along with a series of tiny white surface chips scattered around the image area (upper/lower margins, around "Grateful", below "Hill" and a couple of other areas), a few light handling dings here and there, a couple of tiny edge nips along the top margin and a couple of pieces of mounting tape along the reverse side top margin, otherwise OK.
Overall, a very decent-looking semi-used example of this classic Grimshaw Grateful Dead image from the early '70's.
