Original 1st printing 16&3/8 x 24" concert poster for "Wild West" a series of shows that were to be held at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, CA from 8/22-24/1969. *event cancelled
Acts listed include: Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Turk Murphy (8/22), Mike Bloomfield, Nick Gravenites & Friends, Edwin Hawkins Singers, Fourth Way, Jefferson Airplane and Sons of Champlin (8/23) and Country Joe & the Fish, Santana, Sly & the Family Stone, Steve Miller Band and the Youngbloods (8/24)

Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in used (B-) condition; there is a moderate to heavy amount of edge wear, with numerous tears, nips, bends/creases, mild uneven paper toning and small wedges of missing paper all around the outer margin area, along with a series of decent-sized bends along the upper left/right margins, a few stray stress creases, handling dings, etc... definitely a well-worn specimen.
Conditional issues aside, still a semi-uncommon Bay Area multi-act poster with an absolutely STACKED lineup. The story behind this event is a pretty fascinating tale- read about it HERE:
