Description

Original 1st printing 16&7/8 x 16&7/8" concert poster for Buffalo Springfield (featuring Neil Young and Stephen Stills) appearing with the Electric Chamber Orkustra at the Rock Garden in San Francisco, CA from 4/11-16/1967.

Art by Michael Wood/Pyxis Studios, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 196 (plate 2.213).

Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a 1" hard bend and a tiny split in the top center corner tip, along with a 6" diagonal bend across the top of "Buffalo", a series of thin semi-pronounced bends/creases along the upper right margin, a couple of tiny pin-prick white spots in the lower left quadrant, a few well-camouflaged handling dings here and there and a piece of tape/sticker residue on the reverse side, otherwise it is a very nice-looking gently-used example of this always in-demand poster from the short-lived Mission District nightclub.
