Original 1st printing 17&1/8 x 21&1/4" double-sided (Ampex Tape ad on the reverse) concert poster for Janis Joplin (and Kozmik Blues) appearing at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, IL on 11/23/1969.

 Art by underground comix legend Jay ("Jayzey") Lynch, medium-thin glossy stock poster is in good/decent (B/B-) condition; there are five (5) pronounced horizontal/diagonal bends traversing the image area, along with a bit of mild moisture rippling and a hard 3" vertical bend (just above the "s" of "Janis") along the top margin, a series of tiny pinch/stress creases scattered throughout the image area, a couple of tiny edge nips along the left/right margin, a soft vertical bend just to the left of Janis' head and a 1" edge tear and a small drag pull in the lower left margin, otherwise OK.

 Fairly uncommon low-run late-'69 Janis Joplin poster from Chicago with a great Jay Lynch design.
