Original 1st printing (1st state edition, original lineup version) 25&1/8 x 18&1/8" concert/event poster for the Texas International Pop Festival, held at Dallas International Speedway in Lewisville, TX from 8/30-9/1/1969.
Poster lists appearances by: B.B. King, Canned Heat, Chicago Transit Authority, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young *cancelled), Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, Freddie King, Herbie Mann, Incredible String Band, Led Zeppelin, Nazz, Janis Joplin, Rotary Connection, Sam & Dave, Santana, Sly & the Family Stone, Spirit, Ten Years After and Tony Joe White.
Art by Lance Bragg, medium-flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners (top corners have a couple of tiny drag tears), along with a series of minor creases and a tiny nip tear or two stretching across the top margin, a thin bend along the upper right margin, a few VERY soft diagonal corner bends, a hint of light handling wear and a few tiny pin-prick spots, a loose stress bend or two lurking within the image area and a set of light tape pulls on the reverse side, otherwise fine.
INCREDIBLE lineup on this one, check out over an hour of footage (a "Woodstock"-style documentary) from the event HERE:
