Description

Original 1st printing 17 x 21" benefit concert poster, "Goodbye V.D.", a multi-act show headlined by Eric Burdon & War, along with Stoneground, the Cockettes, Full Moon, a "Lenny Bruce cartoon" and M.C. Uncle Vinty at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA on 5/5/1971.

Designer unknown ("E. Heaven"?), image is an un-numbered single-show/one-off image from the Bill Graham/Fillmore series, falling in between the BG 278 and 279 shows.

Medium-thick glossy-coated stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are a series of fairly pronounced hard creases/vertical bends and a couple of tiny nip tears scattered along the left/right margins, along with a few well-camouflaged soft handling creases, pin-prick spots/smudges and minor surface dings hiding within the image area, a trace of mild paper toning and a tiny bit of pen scratch on the reverse, otherwise OK.

Somewhat crudely-rendered (but very amusing) early-'71 Fillmore West benefit artifact.
