Original 1st printing 18 x 24" concert/event poster for a multi-act 3-day benefit held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA from 5/28-30/1967;

The "Ancestral Spirits Festival Benefit for the Haight-Ashbury Karmic Bail Fund and the Church of ONE" lists appearances by Sandy Bull, Sparrow (proto-Steppenwolf), Flying Circus, the C.I.A., the Orkustra, the Outfit, Notes from the Underground, New Salvation Army Banned and MANY more.

 Artist unknown/not credited, thick flat index stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a trace amount of edge wear (tiny creases/pressure dings), a well-camouflaged soft handling crease or two hiding within the image area and a whisper of edge toning, it is a VERY sharp example of this oddball California Hall benefit event poster from mid-1967.

The shows were legal-aid benefits to cover the increasing amount of LSD busts that had started to infiltrate the H-A neighborhood that spring.
