Original 1st printing 24 x 36" large concert/event poster for the (second) Newport Pop Festival, held at Devonshire Downs in Northridge, CA from 6/20-23/1969.

 Poster lists performances by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Spirit, Joe Cocker, Southwind, Taj Mahal, Albert King, Edwin Hawkins Singers, Ike & Tina Turner, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Steppenwolf, Jethro Tull, Eric Burdon, Buffy St. Marie, Friends of Distinction, Charity, Sweetwater, Lee Michaels, Albert Collins, Love, Brenton Wood, Chambers Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Grass Roots, Three Dog Night, Booker T. & the MG's, Johnny Winter, the Byrds, Poco, Mother Earth, the Flock and the Rascals.

 Artist unknown/not credited, medium-thin flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there are semi-pronounced horizontal roll creases traversing the left side of the image area, along with a bit of mild age spotting/toning and a few tiny pin-prick mold spots along the lower margin area, a bit of edge creasing/wear, subtle moisture rippling and a few tiny stress/handling dings here and there and a tiny corner-tip nip in the bottom left corner, otherwise OK.... definitely still in presentable shape.
