Original 1st printing 20 x 25&3/4" silkscreen concert/event poster for the (Third Annual) Big Sur Folk Festival, held at Esalen Hot Springs in Big Sur, CA from 7/9-10/1966.

 Art by J. Myrick, poster lists festival participants: Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Mimi Fariña, Mark Spolestra, Malvina Reynolds, Al Kooper (Blues Project/Bob Dylan/BS&T) and Nancy Carlen.

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; really nothing more than a few tiny pin-prick age spots and a stray nick/pressure ding or two scattered around the outer margin area, along with a bit of moderate curling to the paper (it was rolled tightly for many years), it is an absolutely GORGEOUS example of this early psychedelic poster from the 1966 edition of the annual folk music get-together.
