Description

 Original 1st printing 9&1/2 x 22" event/concert poster for "Fluxfest", a multi-act show/happening held at Longshoreman's Hall in San Francisco, CA on 3/31/1967.

Poster lists performances/appearances by Quicksilver Messenger Service, the Wildflower and the San Francisco Mime Troupe.

Design by Berner, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 190 (plate 2.198).

Thin flat index stock ("Safety Check" watermark) poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are three horizontal creases traversing the image area with a tiny split in the left center margin, a bit of uneven toning along the left side of the poster and along a couple of the bends, a bit of light handling wear, an ultra-tiny tear just to the left of "Longshoreman's" and the reverse side has a bit more pronounced toning, but overall it's still a pretty decent-looking example.

Amusing early-'67 San Francisco concert/event/"happening" poster, this version (there are several different designs) was designed by one of the promoters (Jeff Berner).
