Description

Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin)* appearing with Blue Cheer in a legal-aid benefit for the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/3/1967.
 
 Art by Allen "Gut" Terk, image ("It's Party Time Again!") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 207 (plate 2.248). 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from a few light pinch dings hiding within the image area, a couple of minuscule corner-tip bends and a "Ben Grandy Company" distribution stamp (and a tiny bit of pencil scratch) on the reverse side, it is a FANTASTIC 1st printing example of this always-in-demand Hells Angels/Big Brother poster from early-'67.
