Original 1st printing 14&7/8 x 20" concert poster for the (Amazing) Charlatans appearing with the Electric Train at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/4/1966.

 Art by George Hunter, image ("Rock & Roll Ball") is designated "FD VII" in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 Medium flat vellum stock poster has been restored to very good/excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are numerous edge/corner-tip repairs (sealed tears, filled holes, minor paper replacement), along with a few flattened/pressed-out thin bends, a couple of well-camouflaged touch-ups within the image area and there remain a couple of soft/rounded corner tips, edge dings, a bit of minor moisture rippling to the paper (*a couple of the edges look slightly uneven, but I can't tell if it is paper shrinkage from the poster being washed or if they were trimmed... either way, you can see them if you look very closely); definitely a bit of work went into bringing this one back from oblivion, but it looks pretty darn good overall for what it is.

Overall, a very decent-looking example of one of the EARLIEST Family Dog posters... just two weeks before the Tribal Stomp.
