 Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" monochrome concert flyer for the one and only Captain Beefheart (and His Magic Band) appearing with the Charlatans at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 8/26-27/1966.
 
 Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is # 23 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. (OHB-A in the Eric King guide)
 
 Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; with the exception of a nearly-invisible soft vertical bend in the top center margin and a couple of negligible edge/corner-tip dings along the upper margin area, it is a VERY sharp example of this semi-early Mouse/Kelley Avalon flyer.
