Description

Original 1st printing 6&1/8 x 9" double-sided (*mail-order ticket form on the reverse side) boxing-style concert handbill for "The Biggest Show of '52", a multi-act show held at the National Guard Armory in Washington DC on 10/5/1952.

Acts listed include: Nat "King" Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Stan Kenton, Stump & Stumpy, George Kirby, Teddy Hale and the Congaroos

Designer/printer uncredited, thin flat stock letterpress handbill is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition;aside from a few ultra-light handling dings here and there and a touch of minor ink spread in a couple of places, it is ASTONISHINGLY CLEAN for being over 72 years old.

INCREDIBLY COOL jazz/easy-listening concert artifact from just before the 1950's rock n' roll revolution.
