Description

Original 1st printing 15&3/8 x 22&1/4" concert poster for the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing at Governor's Hall in Sacramento, CA on 12/28/1966. 

Art by Ogden, image ("Vivid Vision" A/K/A "Beaux Arts Ball-Version 2") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 260 (plate 3.14). 

 Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a few VERY well-camouflaged soft handling dings lurking within the image area and a whisper of edge toning, this stands as one of the sharpest/cleanest examples I have come across. 

A STUNNING nearly-perfect example of one of the WEIRDEST early Grateful Dead posters.
