Original 1st printing 13&3/8 x 8&1/2" concert flyer/large handbill for the first three weekends of shows held at the Boston Tea Party (53 Berkeley St location) in Boston, MA from 1/20-2/4/1967.
All three weekends (1/20-21, 1/27-28 and 2/3-4) were headlined by the Lost, plus the Hallucinations (not listed, from 1/27-28) and Catharsis (from 2/3-4,- also mentions the Chambers Brothers coming "next week").
This is the SECOND-STATE version of the "Grand Opening" image, with the additional green teacup overprint (added after the third weekend was booked), making this the 2nd image in the Boston Tea Party series.
Art by David Hahn, thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; just a few soft handling creases hiding within the image area, a touch of edge toning/light creasing, a couple of soft smudges in the lower left corner/margin and along the top edge of the teacup and a few tiny pin-prick ink spots lurking within the image area, otherwise fine.
SEMINAL Boston Tea Party concert artifact from early 1967, this particular example comes from a member of a well-connected band that performed regularly at the venue.
