Original 1st printing 15 x 20" engagement poster ("tour blank" format with printed information) for "A Minstrel Show", or "Civil Rights in a Cracker Barrel", a series of political satire performances put on by the San Francisco Mime Troupe, held at the Gate Theatre in Sausalito, CA from 7/1-25/1965.

 Designer unknown/not credited (shows were promoted by Bill Graham), image (for Berkeley Little Theater) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 112 (plate 2.32).

 Extra-thick flat index (almost cardboard) stock poster has been professionally restored to excellent (B+) condition; there has been a bit of edge repair with a few areas of surface touch-up/stain removal around the "S.F. Mime Troupe" lettering, along with cleaning/light bleaching to remove surface stains, leaving behind a light moisture wave to the paper and a couple of tiny pin-prick surface spots here and there, but overall it looks really nice and bright.

VERY early pre-Fillmore Bill Graham artifact, this is the first one of these that I have had to offer.
