Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 19&7/8" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 9/9-10/1966.
 
 Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley with a photo by Edward S. Curtis, image ("Bull Bear") is # 25 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are small bends and light creasing in all four cornber tips, along with a few light handling dings, tiny pin-prick spots and thin stress bends hiding within the image area, a hint of paper toning and a "Lorin Gilette Distributor" stamp on the reverse side, otherwise fine.

Overall, a very nice-looking gently-worn 1st printing example of this early Family Dog poster.
